Elmhurst Dress Code

Elmhurst Dress Code Suitable dress is required on Club premises at all times.

Tournament guests & volunteers who are not in compliance with the rules of dress will be asked to change into dress more appropriate or, failing to do so, to leave Club premises.

This is a private club and we ask that our guests respect the members and staff at Elmhurst. We respect the rules of conduct that the club has for its members and their guests.

ACCEPTABLE GOLF COURSE DRESS

For women:

Acceptable dress includes: golf shirts with collar or sleeves, slacks, pants, shorts with pockets sewn closely to garment, sweaters, jackets, skirts and rainwear.

Shorts, skirts, and skorts must be conservative length being no shorter than mid thigh.

For men:

Acceptable dress includes: Golf shirts with sleeves and collars. Slacks, pants, shorts with pockets sewn closely to garment. Sweaters, jackets and rainwear are permitted. Shirts are to be tucked in at the waist unless they are tailored to be un-tucked as defined by being: hemmed, evenly cut around the bottom, and a reasonably conservative length below the belt.

Footwear:

Soft-spike, spikeless shoes, or sandals must be worn at all times on the golf course or practice facilities. Golf shoes are preferred, but light tread running shoes are acceptable. Dress shoes or shoes with rugged or studded soles or heels are not permitted on the golf course.

Headwear:

For men and women: Appropriate golf headwear may be worn

PROHIBITED GOLF COURSE DRESS

Denim pants or jackets, t-shirts, cut-offs, tank tops, muscle shirts, short shorts, track suits are not permitted anywhere on the golf course or driving range. Cargo shorts with loosely sewn pockets are not considered to be appropriate golf attire

Any shorts with baggy pockets are strictly prohibited. Clothing displaying large commercial logos, such as hoodies and jerseys, except those that are golf related, are not permitted on the golf course or in the clubhouse.
